Serious with humour, but humoristic with serious people.
Open for novelties, but closed to myself.

do you take some more ... social networks?

Nicolas Sierro

I listed all my "things" related to social networks.

The 1st impression is "sigh! ... that's too much". Then provocative "There are some missing. I can do better, more".

In real life, we have different groups of friends, interests, places, etc. So, it is normal to have the same (different groups, networks, areas) online. And in real life, we act sometime differently depending of the context. So, perhaps are different profiles or avatars needed? (or is consistency important for credibility?)

Anyway apart that this takes time, other questions are raising:
- procrastination?
- need for standardisation and consolidation?
- more networks => more APIs => more integration?

Currently my feeling is: it won't stop and...
"vous en reprendrez bien un petit peu?"
 "do you take some more?"

Louis Pergaud: De Goupil à Margot

Nicolas Sierro

Before the iPhone conference, I produced a mind map overview that I slightly updated.
Here it is...

Learning Path inside HW

Nicolas Sierro

Here is another way to discover and use HyperWeek,
considering the user, publisher, and editor's views
in a step by step learning approach:
1 You Enjoy
2 You Enter
3 You Create
4 You Publish
5 You Interact
6 You Configure
7 You Use Deeper.

The overview of the five 1st steps are summarized here.

Make a Cover in HW: some screenshots

Nicolas Sierro

Already done a cover within HyperWeek?

We played with the tool and you can find here the related screenshots sequence,
giving an overview of the main steps.
__________________________________________________________________

starting:
SHARE > Covers
Make a new cover
1. WRITE TEXT

and Save changes!
__________________________________________________________________

The system jumps immediately to the " 2. STYLE IT! "part:

__________________________________________________________________

Coming back to " 1. WRITE TEXT  " (after Save changes to store update),
you can also add picture:
For your information, the size of the cover is 594 x 180 [px]
(so prepare a picture big enough to ensure resolution quality)

and Save changes!
__________________________________________________________________

the picture is added and you can move it:

__________________________________________________________________

you can re-size it:

__________________________________________________________________

and so on ... :

__________________________________________________________________

and finalize the layout (the Caption & Title items can be modified similar to picture):

__________________________________________________________________

You can so refine your cover design and text editing, but do not forget to
Save changes
when switching between " 1. WRITE TEXT  " and " 2. STYLE IT! "
(to avoid loosing your last change)

__________________________________________________________________

The cover is finalized (e.g. Title text change):

and saved.
__________________________________________________________________

you define to which group you desire to publish this cover:

__________________________________________________________________

and then Publish!

__________________________________________________________________

It's done. Bravo!

__________________________________________________________________

and the result is immediately active and visble.

HW (alpha) sitemap [version september 2008]

Nicolas Sierro

This is the updated sitemap of our beloved HyperWeek:

   photo

Similar to the previous version, it is not complete (I am not so a masochist) and small errors are part of it. The main goal is reached: to have an overview, or to find quickly a detail.
Bonus of the month: English and French (c'est aussi important)
Facts: there are a lot of features and they are provided in several locations within the navigation.

Next step: another overview, more visual, focus to the groups of the main functionalities

PS: If you desire the mindmap file of this stemap, I will be glad to send it to you. You can read the file with MindManager (paid) or Freemind (opensource)
