Technique

tomcat apache cocoon (latest was used as cross media CMS) / complete separation of : content [full XML (and only)] & presentation [XSL stylesheet] (PDF output also produced)

History

Based on my product positionning of SICAP VAS (Value Added Service) as multi-channels services: SMS-IVR-USSD, I further impose this vision for Swisscom's mobility portal gomobile with WAP-WEB-SMS-USSD in 2000.
By Netarchitects, I went further for the prototype of a cross media sites for: WEB (HTML), WAP (WML, mobile phones), Pocket PC (HTML, PDA), Palm (PQA, PDA), and SMS (Echovox SMS-gateway).
